Trade 2 Trade operating terms.
1. Trade-only eligibility
The marketplace is available only to verified motor-trade businesses acting wholly for business purposes. Users must provide accurate company, contact and insurance information and keep it current. Vauxhall World Ltd may suspend access while checks are pending or information is incomplete.
2. Platform role
Unless a listing expressly identifies Vauxhall World Ltd as seller, the platform introduces verified trade buyers and sellers and records auction activity. The vehicle contract is between the selling dealer and successful buying dealer. The platform does not hold buyer funds or vehicle title as escrow.
3. Listings and disclosure
Sellers must have authority to sell, disclose known finance or title restrictions, provide accurate registration/VIN/mileage/VAT information, describe known mechanical, electrical, body, glass, tyre and interior defects, and state collection terms. Material omissions may lead to rejection, suspension or dispute handling.
4. Auctions, reserve and Buy Now
A bid is a business offer intended to be binding if it wins and meets the reserve. Buy Now ends the auction immediately. The platform may extend closing time following late bids, reject technically invalid bids, or cancel a listing where fraud, material error or ownership concerns arise.
5. Inspection and trade risk
Vehicles are offered on business-to-business terms. Buyers must assess the listing, ask permitted questions and arrange any inspection before bidding. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
6. Price, VAT and fees
The seller must identify the intended VAT treatment. Buyer and seller platform fees are shown before the relevant action and become due only when the marketplace transaction is confirmed under the platform process. VAT is added to platform service fees where applicable.
7. Completion
The parties are responsible for vehicle payment, invoice, title checks, V5C handling, collection, keys and documents. Both parties must confirm the transaction accurately. Attempts to avoid a published platform fee after introduction or a winning marketplace result may result in suspension and recovery action.
8. Disputes and records
Users should notify Vauxhall World Ltd promptly of a material dispute. The platform may preserve listings, bids, confirmations, messages, documents and audit logs and may restrict accounts while reviewing the issue. The platform does not guarantee a vehicle, seller, buyer or payment.
9. Governing law
The final approved terms will state the governing law, jurisdiction, liability limits, cancellation rules, fee recovery process and formal notice details. Those provisions must be completed before public launch.
