Regulatory status update

Application to cancel consumer credit permissions

On 4 September 2026, Vauxhall World Ltd applied to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to cancel its permissions for regulated consumer credit activities, including credit broking.

The application is subject to determination by the FCA. Vauxhall World Ltd has ceased taking on new consumer finance business and will not introduce new customers to finance providers.

Existing agreements

Your existing finance agreement is not affected.

If you already have a vehicle finance agreement, it remains in place with the finance lender named in your credit agreement and continues under its existing terms.

Vauxhall World Ltd's decision to stop retail vehicle sales and consumer finance broking, and its application to cancel FCA permissions, does not cancel, vary, transfer or otherwise change your existing credit agreement or payment arrangements.
